Light Shade Workshop with Looping and Netting Techniques

Come and spend the morning making your own pendant light shade.

Each participant will create a pendant light shade by weaving onto a supplied steel frame. The pendant shade is approx 300mm wide x 450mm high and will fit onto a standard lamp holder fitting.

In this class you will be taught string and cord making techniques followed by looping and netting styled methods that will be applied to the creation of your light shade.

Various materials including ready-made strings, fabric and plant fibres will be supplied for this class and you will be shown how to use them.

Brooke will be demonstrating and teaching these skills and will be hands on when showing the differing netting styles.
