HIDDEN COIL BASKET WEAVING

Spend the morning with Brooke Munro from Mr and Mrs Munro learning an introduction to the art of basketry coiling. Hidden core coiling is the action of wrapping together a core material to create a form.

Brooke will be demonstrating varied techniques and will be hands on when teaching differing stitches and wrapping styles. With a combination of soft materials, including Mr and Mrs Munro hand dyed raffia, each participant will create and play with the sculptural medium that is basketry.

All materials for this class are supplied.
